It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Autumn

[Blouse - Old Navy; Shoes & Cardigan - Target; Jeans - American Eagle; Sunnies - RayBan; Necklace - J.Crew;  Watch - Michael Kors]

I love the fall for so many reasons.

1. I like wearing boots
2. I think layering is tres chic
3. I like colors of fall
4. I enjoy apple cider a little too much
5. I like apple picking
6. I like football... but not football in the winter
7. I like the leaves changing
8. I like pumpkins and all involved with pumpkins... and squash
9. I like the smell
10. I can do many things outside

I also like gingham and leopard prints and my favorite jeans from AE (that I've had for a decade now... I refuse to get rid of them).

I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather :)

Fall Trends 2013

[Jacket - Forever 21; Puff Vest - LLBean; Riding Boots - Tory Burch; Leopard Print Dress Pants - Banana Republic; White Tulle Dress - ModCloth; Emerald Shell - 3.1 Phillip Lim at Nordstrom; Leather Skirt - River Island at ASOS]

What are you must haves??

Boyfriend & I tend to take pictures after church because people tend not to be out, the sun isn't too insane, and he then can go home and watch football for the day.  These were the two best things I could find out of over 100 pictures.  Maybe we should focus more on the overall attempt: looking like Pippa!  The sweaterdress is one of the great items of fall.

Labor Day Deals

I may or may not have gone wild over Labor Day weekend...

[Aztec Skirt - Express; Blue Issa Dress & Orange Polka Dot Scarf - Banana Republic, Necklace - J.Crew Factory; Bow Pearl Earrings - TargetBlush Top & Leopard Print Skirt - Loft; Red Printed Scarf & Purple Gold Toed Flats - Old Navy; Black Leather Jacket - The Limited]
Even better yet, I save $200 with all of these purchases!  I'm a fan of deals but I tend to forget to take advantage of holiday deals on the internet.  And the best thing - I got the blue Issa dress, the aztec skirt, and the leather jacket I've had on my list for months.  I can't tell what's my favorite... so I think I should wear it all at once.  I won't look silly at all ;)

Twinkle Toes

[Headband - Claires; Cardigan (old) - Old Navy; Top - Cynthia Rowley at TJMaxx; Pants - Target; Shoes - TJMaxx]

When I saw these shoes, I knew they were meant to go home with me.  That being said, I'm always petrified to wear them due to the beautiful grayed jade suede.  They are the perfect pop to any black & white ensemble (which I tend to wear often).  The pedal pushers are definitely a staple in my wardrobe making things look perfectly Audrey.

Motorcycle Chic

Fall Leather

I'm definitely jumping on the leather bandwagon this season.  I'm thinking a leather skirt or sleeved t-shirt is going to end up in my wardrobe. Do you want more leather in your closet?  What are you thinking about adding?

Maxi-mum Capacity

[Dress, Shoes & Necklaces - Target; Sunnies - RayBan; Bracelet - Vintage]

I broke down and bought a maxi dress.  I've had many fears about them - they'd make me look short, or wide, they'd be annoying to wear, they'd make me look pregnant.  Well this lovely number does none of the above.  Empire waists flatter me, black is always flatters, and it is SO comfortable.  I wore it while walking around NYC for a whole day back on a chaperone trip and I felt awesome.  I've been converted.  Find a maxi dress that cuts you well and in a color you feel comfortable wearing and buy it before they go away for the fall!

Colors of Fall

Pantone has released their fall colors and I'm very, very excited.  I did an excellent job with incorporating Pantone's spring colors (a first for me... I tend to decide on my own which colors I'm going to make for the season), so I'm excited to see how I do this round.  A little competition never hurt anyone, right?

If I had a uniform in the time between Spring & Summer/Summer & Fall, it would be chambray, bows, lace, booties, aviators, and mint.  See - this outfit.  If there was a place I would get this uniform it would definitely be Target.  But we already know this, right?

And to go along with my uniform... I had to do a jumping picture.  I just really like it.  That and ice cream.  Clearly.  Boyfriend liked the car and thought it was picture worthy.  So this is for the one male who frequents this blog (himself).
