I've Found What I've Been Lookin' For

I have been on the look out for certain sweaters this season.  I'm asking for a white cableknit for Christmas.  I am on the look out for certain sweaters with fun prints.  One day I will get my hands on the perfect ugly Christmas sweater.  And I wanted a perfect tan, chunky, cableknit cardigan.  Dear TJMaxx, you always pull through.  I think I could wear it every day.

In other news: on our excursion to Alexandria, I discovered my first Lou Lou's Boutique.  I fell in love.  I decided not to buy the whole store, but I'm pretty sure the boyfriend thought there was a possibility of that happening.  This red bauble necklace was one of my purchases and worth every penny.  I think I could take one in every color (I also have one in blue, a turquoise translucent gem one, and purchased a pearl one the same day) and have been browsing the website daily thinking of what my jewelry collection is going to look like.  I know what's going on the birthday wishlist this coming year! (Hear that?  Spoiled me thinking of April birthday wishlists... SHEESH!)

Giving Thanks

THANK YOU!

This is the day of giving thanks, so I'm taking this time to give thanks to one of my many, many blessings - you!  I love my blog followers and I appreciate you every day.  After hours and hours talking about investments, staring at spreadsheets, completing pounds and pounds of paperwork, and creating materials, it's refreshing to do something that is fun, appreciated, and so me.  After one of my very favorite people at work suggested I indulge myself and throw myself into my hobbies outside of the workplace, I started The Crown Bijoux, and it just keeps getting better and better.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Those small moments you come and visit mean more than you could ever understand.

Pumpkin Shopping

It was windy & cold and we really weren't expecting that type of weather.  I'm so not ready for fall.  However, boyfriend promised me a pumpkin before the season was over (he doesn't know it yet, but he will be trying my roasted pumpkin seeds).  I wish this big pappy was the one I took home but I picked a perfect and small one that I held like a child all the way home.  

I hope you're enjoying the last remnants of fall before stupid winter is upon us! :P 

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Autumn

I love the fall for so many reasons.  

1. I like wearing boots

2. I think layering is tres chic

3. I like colors of fall

4. I enjoy apple cider a little too much

5. I like apple picking

6. I like football... but not football in the winter

7. I like the leaves changing

8. I like pumpkins and all involved with pumpkins... and squash

9. I like the smell

10. I can do many things outside

I also like gingham and leopard prints and my favorite jeans from AE (that I've had for a decade now... I refuse to get rid of them).
