When I shop at Target, I tend to go for things on super sale (for example, I used my Target Cartwheel app the other day to get 25% off the already on sale athletic wear, for which I already had an $8 off coupon.  SCORE!) but when I saw this dress, I knew I found my Christmas Eve dress.  I love the mod silhouette and funky design in the winter white.  Added with the leather gloves and quilted purse, it just seems so Twiggy.  

The awesome black square bauble necklace was a gift for Christmas from the boyfriend, and I'm in love (with both... but definitely the necklace ;)).

The Changing of the Guard

One of my coworkers asked me how to update her wardrobe and move on from her daily uniform - black blazer, black pants, black or nude heels/wedges, and a bright colored shirt with a fun necklace.  While I started going on a rampant monologue of blazers and dresses and colors and mixing and matching and... she was overwhelmed.  Even though I have hopes & dreams for her wardrobe, while staying true to herself, we started with the first element - the blazer.  Adding colorful and fun blazers to a wardrobe puts a twist on the every day business look.

First Day of School

I've only been out of school for two years (okay... college), but every fall, I get the itch.  I don't know if it's all the new styles, the changing weather, or the back-to-school supplies just begging for me to purchase, but there's just something about this time of year that makes me happy.  Here are some of my choices for that first day:
