See the snow on the ground?? Yeah... well it snowed on Tuesday, and it wasn't that much but it's been SO FREAKIN' COLD it has yet to melt. I've been wanting to do an outfit post but the wind and weather have just really not afforded for that to happen. Until today! Woo!
Boyfriend & I were going to go to the farm show (yep) for fried cheese and BBQ. I may or may not have been the day before for my deep fried veggies. Of course, I HAD to pull out the flannel. I got this tunic at WalMart when I was in college and it's one of my two favorite finds from the superstore (I don't normally shop there - I haven't been to one since July).
So there I was all ready to see some animals, and when we got to the complex, it was closed due to FULL LOTS. They told people to drive around until they would let people in (seriously?) We were a little bummed but headed out to lunch and back home for football. Oh well! I guess I'll have to show you Central PA living another time.
Do you have favorite fair-like food?
Oh brrrrr!! And I would be super bummed about not seeing animals. I'd love to see more photos of where you live though! And I don't know if I have a favorite fair-like food... do tacos count? hahaha
ReplyDeleteOh they totally count! They don't have tacos at the Pennsylvania Farm Show (for obvious reasons) but I've had them at fairs and they're delicious - I'm pretty much a fan of any and all Mexican food.
DeleteI'm loving this stylish and cozy attire! Too bad the day didn't turn out as planned. I've not been to many fairs so I can't really think of a favorite food - hope to visit more soon enough :)
ReplyDeleteThen you'll have to smart small with the typical french fry, blooming onion, or funnel cake. But trust me - it's worth it!
DeleteLove your plaid shirt!! My fair food fav is just an old fashioned funnel cake!

Hi Sarah!
ReplyDeleteI am in LOVE with that scarf! It looks so warm & cozy. Perfect for this time of year! Is the farm show outside? With all this bitter cold weather, I'm amazed that it would be so full with people. Unless of course it's an indoor event. My favorite fair food is pulled pork bbq...yum! Makes me hungry just thinking about it :)
Warmest Regards,
Cynthia at http://styleneverstops.com
Haha - no it's inside! But it's in this crazy large warehouse type building (it's called the farm show complex... yep that's right.) so it protects from the elements but if it's cold, its not warm inside. And pulled pork bbq is so delicious! I went the day before with coworkers and saw that stand with every intention of trying it when we returned. I wanted the Carolina Style... mmm :)
DeleteLove this cozy, layered look!
